Though out John Steinbeck’s Of mice and Men, Lennie is a slow witted, innocent, non-violent man, unaware of his strengh, with a mind of a young child.

Significance:
Usually people who snort into pools aren’t exactly all there in the head, so those simple words tell the reader that Lennie would possible be a retarded character. When you see that George’s need to tell Lennie to stop drinking, or he would be sick like he was last night, that is a hint that Lennie is not capable of takin ....
