It followed the President’s car from the time it turned from Houston Street onto Elm Street. It stayed on the car through the entire assassination. Zapruder was sitting on a concrete divider on top of the grassy knoll. There was nothing blocking his view of the motorcade from his angle. (President Commission 97-98).
